Inspiring house tour in Dornbirn
Insight into the impressive core renovation

The STC Development GmbH team recently had the pleasure of taking part in an extraordinary house tour. Sebastian Hämmerle, one of the two founders of Monatti, has completely renovated a house in Dornbirn over the past five years. Although he originally comes from the fashion industry and is known for his work in the handbag sector, he bravely took on this new project and completed it with impressive results. Sebastian was supported by his brother and his partner.

What was particularly exciting was that all the window sills were concreted on site. The interior doors were built on site using a custom-made router table, with the table itself being made from bog oak. The shower was also concreted on site and sanded for over 80 hours. The tiles were all made by hand, with Sebastian’s partner spending two weeks working on different color samples to make the final selection.

This tour showed us what is possible with ambition and a motivated approach to work. Sebastian’s dedication and perfection in every detail of his project are inspiring examples of what can be achieved when you pursue your goals with passion.

We are thrilled with the valuable insights we gained from this experience and feel motivated to tackle our own projects with the same dedication.

Samuel Steiner
Our 2024 summer intern at the ÖBA

In July and August, we had active support in local construction supervision from our intern Samuel Steiner. He describes his experience at STC Development GmbH as follows:

“Since the beginning of my internship, I have found myself embedded in a highly qualified, committed and courteous team, which, despite the current challenges in the construction industry, enables me to have a meaningful and instructive working day, both on site and in the office. While, for example, inspecting the concreting on the 35th floor of a project was associated with a great deal of personal fascination on my part, the office offers a pleasant working environment characterized by a lively exchange with colleagues. As a dual student of architecture and economics, I really appreciate this contrast. The in-depth insight into planning documents, actively experiencing the construction progress on site, the responsibility for invoice collation, the entertaining discussions and, last but not least, a strong team all add up to an internship experience that I wouldn’t want to do without in my personal development.”

Celebrate together at the 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗳 𝗙ä𝘀𝗰𝗵𝘁. 𝗦𝗧𝗖 𝗛𝗼𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝘀

On 8. and 9 June 2024 it was that time again: the HATLER DORF FÄSCHT attracted around 2,000 visitors to the Hatlerdorf village in Dornbirn under the motto “Mitnand gmüotle hia”.

Two days full of joy, community and brass band music once again showed how important such festivals are for social interaction.
STC Development GmbH had the honorable task of sponsoring the Pischelsdorf band from Upper Austria.

Hanno Bohle, our “festival guide” and branch manager in Vorarlberg, contributed to the success of the festival by providing the musicians with food and drink and trying his hand at being a band leader himself.
