Dietrich | Untertrifaller architects visit the construction site

On November 7, 2025, not only the traditional St. Martin’s market took place in Dornbirn – the architectural office DIETRICH UNTERTRIFALLER was also a guest at our joint construction site: the new construction of the Vorarlberger Hof in the heart of Dornbirn.

An incredible amount has happened since the start of demolition in June 2024. The first areas are already nearing completion – including the Max and Stella store, which is already in the final stages of completion. And: we are delighted to be able to present the first finished façade sections right now.

A big thank you to the clients, the entire planning team and all the craftsmen on site who make this project possible every day with their expertise, commitment and exceptional cooperation.

We are proud of a project team that works together seamlessly, solution-oriented and with great mutual trust – because this is the only way to ensure costs, time and quality in the long term. Knowledge meets practice – students from the University of Liechtenstein on an excursion

Today we welcomed students from the University of Liechtenstein to our construction site. Under the guidance of DI Martin Walch, structural engineer of the project and managing director of Tragwerk ZT GmbH, the students gained exciting insights into sustainable structural engineering and its implementation in practice.

Under the motto “Building for generations”, Martin Walch is committed to ensuring that buildings worthy of preservation are not demolished, but revitalized and reused in a meaningful way – an approach that fits perfectly with the attitude of our project developer Markus Schadenbauer. With great commitment and ideological ambition, he develops properties that respect the existing buildings and shape the future.

STC Development GmbH is entrusted with the local construction supervision (ÖBA) for this project and, together with all those involved, ensures that quality, sustainability and construction progress are in harmony.

Green space, mobility and urban living in harmony

With QUARTIER VIER at the Wildquell biotope, a diverse district is being created that intelligently combines nature, living and mobility. The site is located directly next to the future publicly accessible park with around 30,000 m² of green space, which was privately owned for a long time and is now being opened up as a high-quality recreational area for everyone.

New footpaths and cycle paths connect the district with the surrounding area and create short, safe routes – from Atzgersdorf city park to Schönbrunn. In the immediate vicinity of the future Benyastrasse S-Bahn station, a residential and living space is being created that combines sustainability, comfort and quality of life.

What was once a largely sealed factory site is being transformed into a sustainable district – with plenty of green space and a high quality of life for residents and neighbors alike.
