AM KEMPELENPARK – A neighborhood full of visions

The urban development quarter between Sonnwendviertel and B\u00f6hmischer Prater tells a story of change and innovation. Once a steel and cable factory that created state-of-the-art technologies for its time, the site became a Siemens research and development center after its closure – then as now a place full of visions for the future. <\/p>\n

Today, this vision and this change lives on in our future-proof neighborhood development project. Something that is now also reflected in the names of the buildings: The unifying “Werk” in the new name of all the buildings in the quarter builds a bridge between then, now and tomorrow and connects the industrial past of the site with its future role as a place to live and work. The name symbolizes the history and development of the quarter and how tradition can give rise to something new. <\/p>\n
