QUARTIER VIER at the Wildquell biotope – focus on sustainability

With the urban development of the Wildquell biotope, a new chapter of sustainable urban development is to be created in Vienna’s 23rd district. One thing is already clear: the concept for our QUARTIER VIER development area at Biotop Wildquell is based on responsible planning, forward-looking mobility solutions and climate-resilient approaches.

Highlights of QUARTIER VIER at the Wildquell biotope:

• Climate resilience – The focus is on resource-conserving material selection and the implementation of circular economy principles.
• Mobility – Plans include a new connecting road to Breitenfurterstrasse and direct routes for pedestrians and cyclists. A new S-Bahn stop and a bus loop are also to be built in the immediate vicinity to boost public transport.
• Access to green spaces – The park directly adjacent to QUARTIER VIER is to be made accessible to the public in future in order to further enrich the quality of stay in the entire Wildquell biotope.

QUARTIER VIER at the Wildquell biotope is intended to create a modern living space that benefits people and the environment in equal measure – through sustainable planning, intelligent mobility and a clear commitment to climate resilience.
