🌳 Sustainable Innovation at STC – GSG Network Partner Meeting 2024 👩🔬
At the GRÜNSTATTGRAU Network Partner Day 2024 on 14.05. Katharina Haider-Putz was there for STC Development GmbH and presented the Hashtag#lieBeKlima research project. Austria’s largest networking event in the field of building greening offered an ideal platform for exchange and discourse on innovations and research in the field of green urban development.
The FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH-funded exploratory project Hashtag#lieBeKlima, under the lead of STC and in cooperation with the project partners e7 energy innovation & engineering, grünplan Landschaftsarchitekten, GRÜNSTATTGRAU, realitylab and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, aimed to investigate the quality assurance of greening across properties for urban climate resilience. This involved developing a holistic concept for greening, water management and sustainable energy systems in our AM KEMPELENPARK district. This integral guideline is intended to provide real estate developers and builders with a basis for the efficient, future-oriented planning and implementation of climate-friendly urban districts. Among other things, future residents will benefit from a green environment that creates a pleasant microclimate.
By working in partnership as early as possible, the foundations for a climate-resilient, future-proof neighborhood can be laid during the development phase. Our involvement in projects such as Hashtag#lieBeKlima shows that sustainability and innovation are core values at STC Development GmbH. We see it as our responsibility to create green, resilient neighborhoods that are up to the challenges of climate change and thus offer added value for future generations.
