AM KEMPELENPARK, Vienna (A)

The neighborhood development at Kempelenpark in Vienna’s 10th district is a classic brown-field development of a former Siemens site.

The aim of the project, which was taken over by STC in 2019, is the climate-efficient redensification and unsealing of the area as well as the creation of more public green space for the residents of the district.

The focus of this project is on creating high-quality space for living, working and spending time in combination with a focus on sustainability and climate resilience.

STC Development is responsible for the neighborhood development across all construction sites in the Kempelenpark project.

The privately financed building plots A1, B2, B3 and A3, on which several innovative, climate-efficient commercial and residential buildings as well as a kindergarten are to be built in future, will be further developed by STC.The subsidized building plots will be further developed by the non-profit developers Heimat Österreich (building plot A2), WBW-GPA (building plot A4) and Frieden (building plot B4) once the City of Vienna’s quality assurance process has been completed.
