From vacancy to lively district
Revitalization project in the 23rd district, Vienna

Vacant and derelict buildings, such as the area on and around the former Wildschek paint factory in Vienna’s 23rd district, often have a negative impact on the cityscape: they promote stagnation, prevent economic and social development and can even attract crime. This is precisely where STC Development GmbH’s sustainable neighborhood development comes in! The vacant building on our property, which was ready for demolition, was demolished so that a new, sustainable urban development project can be built on this site in the future, offering added value for the entire area. With our project in Wiegelestraße, we are not only creating urgently needed living space, but also modern commercial space as well as a sports and event venue – a win-win situation for the entire neighborhood that will benefit residents, future residents and the district alike. A special highlight of the area’s development: the parallel development of our property and the neighboring quarter will also make the previously private, non-public park directly adjacent to our property accessible to the public for the first time. A hidden gem in the middle of the 23rd district that will serve as a valuable green space for everyone in future. Our mission is clear: to live sustainability and create added value for everyone – for people and the environment.
We are delighted to be part of the neighborhood development! #STC #Vienna #project development #sustainability
