PIER05 – Four components. Four characters. A neighborhood with identity.
Naming ceremony for the four PIER05 components! From now on, the four buildings will bear names that not only reflect their function, but also their respective identities. Located directly on the waterfront and inspired by the dynamics of seafaring, the names, like the buildings, combine maritime flair with urban architecture and underline the complexity of the quarter:
- FARO – signal and versatility
As a beacon of the district, FARO stands for orientation and consistency. In a prime location on the waterfront, the building combines residential, commercial and gastronomy – and thus forms a lively focal point in the ensemble. - ANCORA – stability and retreat
ANCORA symbolizes safety and security. The residential building offers quiet retreats – a place to arrive and linger in an urban environment. - NAVIS – dynamism and economic power
NAVIS stands for movement and networking. As an economic center, the building offers modern commercial space in an environment with a clear urban character. - PORTA – connection and exchange
PORTA – the gate – creates openness. With its location directly on the lakeshore, it becomes a meeting place with catering and commercial use that actively promotes encounters.
Whether residential, office or restaurant – each building contributes to the identity of PIER05 and makes the project a coherent ensemble with a high recognition value.
In the coming weeks, the individual components will be presented in detail – with all their special features and their contribution to the vibrant cityscape of Seestadt Aspern.
