PIER05Interim use – summer stage by the lake

The “Seestadt Stars” music competition started on July 11, with local acts performing live until August 23 – the audience decides who will be on stage at the big street festival on August 29 or at the sports festival on September 6. Since June, the “Neighbourhood Terrace on the Pier”, a cooperation between the Seestadt aspern district management and aspern Seestadt powered by Wien 3420 AG, has been offering a varied interim use program on the PIER05 construction site.

Until the end of September, there is a colorful hands-on program on site:
With the MitMoch day on Wednesday, the district breakfast on Thursday and the open meeting on Friday, the new square on the waterfront becomes a lively meeting place for exchange, encounters and shared experiences – without any pressure to consume. Whether workshops, games afternoons, small performances or cooking in the open air: the terrace stands for living neighborhood.
