Inspection of the excavation support

During an inspection of the construction site for the new HYPO branch in Hohenems, our team was able to get a comprehensive picture of the excavation support on site.

The design illustrates the precise interaction of two systems: While three sides are secured with sheet pile walls, a bored pile wall is used on the fourth side – a technically demanding solution, especially in the prevailing poor ground conditions. Particular attention was paid to the transition between the two securing systems, which had to be precisely timed.

In our role as local construction supervisor, Jerome Winsauer conscientiously monitors these sensitive interfaces and ensures that quality, deadlines and costs remain in balance.
