Project management across construction sites creates real added value
For us at STC, holistic neighborhood development means thinking beyond individual construction sites and actively shaping urban contexts. Particularly in complex development areas, it is crucial to recognize interfaces at an early stage, bring interests together and manage projects across construction sites.
A good example of this is AM KEMPELENPARK, where STC is responsible for overall project management. This is where privately financed and subsidized developers, authorities, the district, residents and future residents come together with different requirements and expectations.
What does it take to develop a functioning neighborhood? Clearly structured processes, continuous dialog and active coordination of all those involved. This is the only way to create districts that create identity, function in the long term and are supported by a broad base.
“For me, neighborhood development requires vision, a deep understanding of urban contexts and a real passion for the task at hand.” – Katharina Haider-Putz
