1100 Columbus, Vienna (A)

The 1100 Columbus comprises a shopping mall with a retail area of around 15,500 m² on four levels, approx. 7,000 m² of office space and an underground parking garage with approx. 400 parking spaces.

The building was completed in 2007. By 2021, the center had been revitalized and refurbished, the rental space had been restructured and the external image had been upgraded.

In 2019, STC took over the technical consulting of the owner and thus the supervision of the revitalization of the property. STC was commissioned with the planning coordination and construction supervision services. The aim of the planned measures was to generally upgrade the property and strengthen the location, particularly as an office property and local shopping center.

The immediate proximity to the new Vienna Central Station and Quartier Belvedere provided an excellent starting point for improving the market positioning. In addition to a fundamental relaunch, the plan was to restructure the mall areas, expand the range of restaurants and comprehensively refurbish the underground car park. All measures were implemented during ongoing operations.
