STC takes over the tendering, awarding and local construction supervision

An architecturally and technically sophisticated new construction project for Hypo Vorarlberg is starting in Hohenems: an office and bank building with a basement, five floors above ground and a flat roof is being built at a neuralgic location. The design by architektur.terminal dieter klammer under the direction of Dieter Klammer impresses with a clear design language and a high-quality façade design with a dark wood-aluminium mullion-transom construction, anodized aluminium frames and immovable oak slats as a distinctive design element. The bank branch extends over the ground and first floors, with flexible office space for external tenants above.

The project also has high technical requirements: Due to the geotechnical conditions, a deep foundation was laid using low-vibration in-situ concrete piles and the excavation pit was enclosed on all sides. The building is heated by a geothermal heat pump, supplemented by a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. An automatic fire alarm system with full protection ensures maximum safety.
