STC focuses on research and innovation for sustainable neighborhood development

On September 16, STC project manager Katharina Haider-Putz took part in a workshop on the Digital Twins for positive energy districts (DT4PED) research project. Together with e7 energy innovation & engineering, the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and the City of Vienna – Department of Energy Planning, we are working on developing innovative solutions for the future of energy as part of the research project.

The focus is on a digital twin of the TragWerk at Kempelenpark: a model that simulates and optimizes energy consumption and production in real time. This allows important insights to be gained as early as the project development stage – with the potential to transfer these approaches to entire neighborhoods in the future.

For us at STC Development GmbH, research and development are an important part of our work – and we are delighted to be actively involved in shaping new paths here.
