PIER05 – The children’s and youth playground

On the roof of the lowest part of PIER05, an extraordinary children’s and youth playground is being created, which offers play equipment for all age groups as well as a breathtaking view over the lake.

The sheltered area combines a high quality of stay with clever design: a well thought-out steel construction enables the flexible installation of sun protection elements and creates space for numerous play and sports equipment such as a nest swing, horizontal bar and more. A bobby car course and a trampoline are planned underneath.

But the playground is not just for the little ones – the intensive greening and areas for early morning sports, sunbathing or relaxed neighborhood meetings make it a place for the whole community. One highlight is the snack garden, which teaches children about nature through play.

With this concept, PIER05 once again lives up to its claim of creating living spaces that combine community, recreation and sustainability.
