Working Together to Further Develop Neighborhood Management, Residential Development, and Common Areas

As part of two workshops on neighborhood management and social support in the “Biotop Wildquell” neighborhood, Yvonne Schrank, together with representatives of the other participating developers—the ÖSW Group (Österreichisches Siedlungswerk Gemeinnützige Wohnungsaktiengesellschaft), NEUE HEIMAT GEWOG / at Home, Wiener Heim, GESIBA—Gemeinnützige Siedlungs- und Baugesellschaft m.b.H. / Wigeba, Heimat Österreich, and EBG Wohnen—developed key guidelines for the move-in process and the design of common areas under the guidance of wohnbund:consult eG.

The focus was on how shared spaces throughout the entire neighborhood could not only be planned but also utilized in a sustainable manner over the long term—with a clear emphasis on usability, identity, and social dynamics.

The insights gained from the two workshop sessions will now be directly incorporated into the next planning phase and the ongoing project development of our QUARTIER VIER at the Wildquell biotope.

Thank you to everyone involved for the focused discussion!
